The paper is devoted to the lily’s symbolic meaning in the mythological context according to the Сhristian and folk tradition. The image of lily is analyzed through the period from the archaic to the modern art.

The aim of this article is to analyze textbooks of the Russian language from the point of view of implementation of the morphological and syntactic principle in studying the noun. For this purpose, the informative filling of the theoretical information about the syntactic functions of the noun forms is revealed. Besides, this information is checked for compliance with the task texts and the language material of the exercises.
