The article is devoted to the results of development of experimental measurement setup for study of defect formation in thin samples of advanced structural materials, allowing to provide improved accuracy of the results on the basis of modifications design and implementation of new optical interference measuring tools and technologies.

The article describes technogenic waste in the context of its widespread use in construction. It provides a brief review of scientific studies that confirms the mechanisms of action of additives in concrete mixtures, describes the environmental impact on the environment, and formulates recommendations for further research.
