The paper is devoted to motivation of agricultural activities. This question is closely intertwined with the tasks of professional orientation of rural youth. Scientific article draws attention to an innovative project – rural tourism, in the formation of mechanisms of motivation of labor in rural areas, as an effective instrument of humanization of agricultural education (on the example of the tourist complex “Stepanov's mound” and tourist route “Marin Cliff”, the Lensk village, LLC "Velikolenskoe"). The authors hope that the government, business and education, working together can create motivational mechanisms for the person to self-realization in a rural area. That will have a positive impact on raising the prestige of the agricultural sector and the attraction of highly qualified specialists in rural areas.
