Article examines the place of the visual image of Russia in the structure of the geopolitical space, emphasizes the importance of forming a positive image of our country in states that are potential allies of the Russian Federation, shows the components of “soft power” and potential channels for forming the image of Russia in humanitarian and linguistic classes in Russian military universities.
