The article emphasizes the relevance of the study of cultural events as a sociocultural resource for actualizing the personal potential of people with disabilities. The purpose of the article is to study cultural events as a sociocultural resource for actualizing the personal potential of people with disabilities, where cultural events act as a means of sociocultural rehabilitation for people with disabilities to actualize their personality. An empirical study revealed that the sociocultural rehabilitation of people with disabilities contributed to the improvement of self-actualization of people with disabilities, their desire for self-acceptance and success in various activities.
The Pushkin Children's Library in Mogilev is one of the largest and oldest libraries in the city, which has been preserving the name of the great Russian writer for 49 years. The main direction of its activity is to preserve the cultural heritage of A.S. Pushkin through the formation of a named book fund, the organization of exhibitions, cultural events and the development of partnerships with various cultural institutions. The library actively participates in the life of the cultural community, including international events, and strives to maintain interest in Pushkin's legacy among the younger generation.
