The article analyzes key innovative trends that will improve the effectiveness of customs control over international container shipments. Special attention is paid to the impact of digitalization, the development of technologies for analyzing big data, artificial intelligence, blockchain and the Internet of Things on improving efficiency, security and speeding up customs clearance procedures. In addition, much attention is being paid to promising areas that can optimize logistics processes and reduce risks within the framework of modern global trade flows.

The article deals with the peculiarities of information systems and technologies in the customs authorities of the Eurasian Economic Union member states to improve the efficiency of customs control. Special attention is paid to such areas as electronic declaration, creation of a “single window” to simplify the procedures of foreign trade activities. Introduction of digital technologies speeds up the process of customs clearance, improves control over participants of foreign economic activity. The main tool for this is the Unified Automated Information System, which facilitates the exchange of information between EAEU member states.
