The article is devoted to the issues of database design in the agricultural livestock industry, the subject area is the technology of production of cattle products. The database for production accounting of cattle was designed using the "entity-relationship" method, the implementation was carried out in the Microsoft Access database management system. The developed interfaces of tables, forms, queries and reports are presented, which allow you to more clearly track changes in the accounting of cows and calves. Due to the digitalization of data, labor productivity increases and time is spent rationally on accounting.
This article focuses on the development and implementation of a management system for small businesses that automates the processes of tracking customers, products, and orders. The system also addresses the most common challenges, such as: data fragmentation, slow performance and order processing, difficulties with monitoring and security, and limited analytical capabilities. These “childish” problems create an objective need for a unified database that ensures centralized storage of key business aspects and consistency of information. A unified database reduces duplication, enforces data integrity rules, improves efficiency, and simplifies the creation and maintenance of reports. The following technologies were used to build the core system: PostgreSQL, FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, and Docker Compose. The main advantage of the project is the ability to use the developed solution as a foundation for building an information system designed for small businesses.
