According to the requirements of the Federal State Educational Standard, one of the priority areas of modern literary education is the development of the speech of schoolchildren. The speech training of middle school students is associated with their mastery of the ability to create various types of monologue statements, which include retelling.
The article describes the system of tasks that were used in the course of work in the 5th grade on the topic «Russian folk tales» in order to improve the ability of schoolchildren to create selective retellings.
This article reveals the features of the formation of monologue speech in older preschool children with general speech underdevelopment (level III). The author has studied the level of formation of monologue speech in older preschool children with general speech underdevelopment (level III) and proposed areas of speech therapy for the development of monologue speech using fairy tales.
