The article is devoted to the effectiveness of the use of educational materials in computer science lessons developed on the basis of the PowToon web service, which allows you to use and create animated presentations. The online service turns a still presentation into an animated video and enlivens the information presented with the help of voice-over audio and various built-in animations. The paper discusses the advantages of dynamic infographics in general and video scribing in particular; the results of testing materials developed in the PowToon service in teaching computer science to schoolchildren are presented; it is concluded that with the help of PowToon it is possible to design and construct almost all aspects of animated videos, the service contributes to the effective perception and improvement of the assimilation of the material, since most of the work the brain is involved in the process of visual perception.
