This article is devoted to a research from the economic point of view of efficiency of use of melanin as antiagers of rubber mixes on the basis of rubbers of general purpose (on the example of SKI-3). This work concerns to group of fundamental exploratory researches. The impact assessment of antioxidants on process of thermooxidizing destruction of synthetic SKI-3 rubber by the DTA methods and researches of kinetics of absorption of oxygen was for this purpose carried out. Costs for product receipt and the main technical and economic indicators, and also costs for accomplishment of research work are shown and determined.
