The article presents the results of experimental studies to determine the time of use of the maximum load and the time of greatest losses for the most significant harmonics of the current by seasons. The measurements were performed on low-voltage inputs of 10/0.4 kV power transformers that supply mainly utility networks with a voltage of 0.38 kV. To obtain reliable results, 37 head sections of 0.38 kV networks were examined.
Assessing the reliability of electric power systems is a very difficult and non-trivial task. Currently, there are various approaches and methods for quantifying reliability, which are mostly based on statistical data on failures of elements of electrical energy systems. The article provides statistical data on failures and their causes in the main and distribution electric networks, as well as on their condition.
Currently, the issue of increasing the reliability of electric power systems is acute due to the high level of wear of electrical equipment. To solve this problem, an adequate assessment of the reliability level of existing electrical systems is necessary. The assessment of the reliability of electrical grid equipment is based on a large amount of statistical data on the number and causes of failures. The article provides some statistical data on malfunctions and their causes for power and measuring transformers.
