The paper presents an approach to evaluating electronic countermeasures to identification systems with imit-resistant modes of operation by creating signal-like in-system interference to suppress the response part of identification systems and suggests ways to improve the effectiveness of radio suppression of the modern NATO Mark-12A identification system with imit-resistant mode of operation M5.
The main tasks solved by portable and mobile complexes of electronic suppression of unmanned aerial vehicles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are analyzed, the features and main tactical and technical characteristics of portable and mobile complexes and wearable stations for countering small unmanned aircraft are considered.
The paper substantiates the relevance of solving the problems of radio interference to identification systems, analyzes modern identification systems of NATO countries as electronic warfare objects, considers approaches to intelligence, electronic suppression and evaluation of the effectiveness of radio interference to identification systems. Ways of increasing the efficiency of radio interference by means of identification systems are proposed.
The issues of detection of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) by radar systems are considered. The directions of development of promising radar systems have been determined. The comparative capabilities of various types of reconnaissance systems for the detection of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in various conditions, their advantages and disadvantages are shown. The calculated detection ranges of small-sized unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) are considered. The possibilities of suppressing navigation systems and radio control lines of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and possible difficulties in their implementation are shown.
