This article is aimed at studying and highlighting the names of adjectives that characterize the external signs of a person with an emotionally negative connotation. The local dialects in the dialects of the Tobolsk, Vagai, Ural regions are considered and the dialectisms in their composition are highlighted.

Our study is devoted to the study of the problem of emotional and evaluative vocabulary in Russian old-timer dialects of Yakutia. The material was the dictionary of M.F. Druzhinina, which contains lexical units of maternal dialects and new nominations reflecting the peculiarities of the material and spiritual culture of Russian immigrants in northeastern Russia. The purpose of this study is to identify and systematize emotional and evaluative vocabulary in Russian old-timer dialects of Yakutia. Dividing words that contain expressiveness into 4 main semantic groups, in this study we examined in detail 1 group with the meaning «human character».
