The problem of upbringing interest in ethnic culture is relevant-noah, as there are formed insufficient level of “nationalization” podras-melting generation.

The article deals with the role of the multicultural educational environment of a university in teaching cross-cultural competence. Ethnopsychological and ethnolinguistic peculiarities of Turkmen students are being studied. The urgency of the problem under study is determined by current educational tendencies.
