The article examines the results of the activities of firms operating in the form of ecosys-tems. The logic of the study is based on the assumption that the transformation of hierarchical structures in the conditions of digitalization of the economy and the existing limits of the boundaries of growth of firms is on the way to creating ecosystems based on digital platforms. The study summarizes the modern views of foreign and domestic scientists on the concepts of «digital platform» and «ecosystem»; provides statistics on the market capitalization of Western companies. On the basis of public reporting data, a correlation analysis was carried out between the factors influenced by the construction of the ecosystem and the value of the Beac business operating in the form of an ecosystem business model. The results of the study allow us to conclude that there is a direct connection between the construction of its own ecosystem and the growth of the value of the company, which in turn is a consequence of the increase in the efficiency of its functioning.
