The article presents some methodological recommendations for teaching schoolchildren graphical methods of solving tasks with parameters by means of variable change. The authors, who have great experience of working with schoolchildren, note the main difficulties and typical mistakes in solving such tasks at the final state certification. The article will be interesting for high school students who are going to take the USE in mathematics at the advanced level, for teachers of mathematics working in senior classes, for methodologists.
