The article describes the work experience in the implementation of the "Program for the Formation of Ecological Culture, a Healthy and Safe Way of Life" in the gymnasium at the stage of basic general education, as well as the personal experience of the teacher in preserving and strengthening the health of students.

The article deals with the actual problem of the formation of the value attitude to health in students of secondary schools. It emphasizes the idea that only medical measures are not enough to solve it. It is necessary to create a value-orientation educational environment, which will contribute to the formation of the value attitude to health among modern schoolchildren. The leading role in this process is assigned to the teacher as the main subject of the educational process.
