The author researches the peculiarities of interaction between heat supply organization, heating system organization and municipal formation during the heat energy supply to housekeeping. The new scheme of interaction has been proposed. The measures for promoting the cost reduction of the heat energy have been showned.

Wood consumption for boiler and furnace fuel in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) is still high. For the households in rural areas, wood remains the main fuel for heating purposes. The firewood consumption and production share in the fuel and energy balance is shown in the paper. In the course of the work, the actual specific heat consumption by the population in the centralized sector and the area of individually residential buildings heated by the population with firewood in each district were revealed. The annual consumption of thermal energy by the individually residential buildings for each district of the republic and the amount of firewood spent on heating in the single-family neighborhood, not connected to various types of energy supply, were calculated on the basis of the actual data. A forecast until 2030 for the firewood consumption by the population was made based on the assessment.
