The article is devoted to the issue of applying the heuristic “immersion” method as an optimal tool in organizing the project research activities of students both in the course of study and after school hours. The main advantages of this method are considered as the main components. The authors emphasize that the use of the heuristic method of learning makes it possible to include each student in the activities that ensure the formation and development of cognitive requests.
