The conditions for the stability of the auto compensation channels of the parasitic angular modulation of the frequency synthesizer are determined. The areas of stable operation of the proposed broadband auto compensator architecture using Butterworth and Chebyshev filters of the second and third orders are analyzed.
Functional models of frequency synthesizers with phase distortion auto compensation channels of a pulse-phase modulator (PPM) have been developed, the stability conditions of PPM phase distortion auto compensation channels included in the control circuit and in the feedback circuit of the pulse-phase fre-quency auto-tuning system (PPFAS), as well as in the feedback circuit of the PPFAS ring, have been analytically determined.
