In the context of psychological anthropology, the psychological aspects of the ideal-like upbringing of a person are revealed. The concept of «ideal character of human upbringing» is disclosed, the functions of ideal character of human upbringing are presented. It has been revealed that the ideal character of a person's upbringing reflects his socio-personal character, which presupposes the presence of two components in the upbringing of a person: social and personal. These components complement each other and have a mutual influence. The social component is based on the idea that a person is a social being, and only in society his natural essence is fully revealed. The personal component contains an understanding that a person influences the functioning and development of society, therefore, in order to achieve the maximum possible results in society, a person needs to develop, including in the psychological aspect.
