The article analyses the prerequisites of the transition to personalized learning. Personalization is considered as one of the vectors of the development of the educational system, considering the advantages and difficulties of introducing personalization in the educational process. The introduction of personalized education makes it possible to develop a harmonious personality and to increase the autonomy and responsibility of the learner in the educational process, which is the basis for the well-being of society as a whole.
