This article clarifies the set of communicative strategies and tactics of modern political discourse, reveals the dependence of the use of these strategies and tactics, as well as the means of their linguistic implementation.

The article examines the image of a literary character as a model of human personality from the perspective of anthropocentric and activity-based linguistics. Based on Elena Semyonovna Chizhova's novel «Little Tsakhes», the linguistic means of creating the image of teacher F. are analyzed. The author examines the ways in which the author embodies his understanding of human nature and the professional role of a teacher in the character. Special attention is paid to the extent to which a literary hero can serve as a source of linguistically relevant conclusions about personality and its characteristics. The study shows how, through linguistic mechanisms, a multifaceted image of a teacher is formed in a literary text, allowing for a deeper understanding of the relevant cultural concept.
