In the article the problem of a large family, creating the preconditions for the victimization of children from such families, revealed categorical characteristics affluent and disadvantaged families, considered victimogenic factors in affluent and disadvantaged families, the experimental results, the psychological and social causes of victimization in children from large families.

The article is devoted to the popularization of large families among young people in the Russian Federation in order to maintain and improve the demographic situation in the country. The main functions of the family, statistics of large families in Russia are considered. Support measures for large families are described, as well as the importance of this status for the state and for the family.
