The article explores new aspects of the institution of legal obligations in the modern legal space. Special attention is paid to the emergence of new categories of obligations – including those обусловленные by digitalization (the obligation to ensure information security, comply with the rules for handling personal data, and meet requirements in the electronic environment), as well as the specifics of obligations within the framework of new forms of interaction between the state and society.
