The article analyzes in detail the principles of the blockchain, its key advantages and challenges arising when used in legal practice. The prospects of using blockchain in intellectual property management, smart contracts, asset tokenization and in providing legal data protection are considered. Possible approaches to the adaptation of legal norms to the peculiarities of this technology are discussed.
The article explores new aspects of the institution of legal obligations in the modern legal space. Special attention is paid to the emergence of new categories of obligations – including those обусловленные by digitalization (the obligation to ensure information security, comply with the rules for handling personal data, and meet requirements in the electronic environment), as well as the specifics of obligations within the framework of new forms of interaction between the state and society.
