The paper is devoted to the method of teaching mathematical analysis. Limit is the most important and difficult concept of the first semester of teaching analysis. We discuss some problems concerned with studying limits and ways of its decision and suggest an algorithm of constructing precise definition of limit in logical symbols. The algorithm can help students to give definitions for different types of limits and understand them.
