This article is devoted to the study of the problem of the formation of literary concepts in younger schoolchildren. It examines the theoretical issues of the implementation of literary propaedeutics in elementary school, as well as a variety of techniques and methods of work that contribute to the effective assimilation of literary concepts by younger students.
