In this work we consider special aspects of management activity and emotional resilience of educational institutions heads. We analyze the results of the completed investigation of the management activity effectiveness and the effect of leaders’ emotional resilience on their management activity success. The use of correlation analysis let us reveal the meaningful relations between studied characteristics.
The essence of management activity is considered, which consists in the interaction of the heads of an educational institution and other participants in the educational process to streamline it and transfer it to a new qualitative state that meets the performance of the tasks. The specificity of preschool education is analyzed, which does not allow mechanically transferring features inherent in other educational organizations into the practice of managing the educational process. This is possible provided that they are filled with new content, adequate to the peculiarities of the functioning of preschool educational institutions. The essence of the process of making group and individual management decisions as a set of interrelated, purposeful, logically sequential management actions that ensure the implementation of management tasks has been determined.
