The article is devoted to the issue of the manifestation of professional neuroses, emotional stability and burnout syndrome in medical workers. The analysis of the literature data on the chosen problem was carried out, the genesis of this phenomenon was studied, risk groups and factors were identified, the causes of this pathology in healthcare professionals, and the clinical manifestations of the burnout syndrome in medical professionals. It is concluded that emotional stability reduces the negative impact of strong emotional influences, prevents extreme stress, promotes the manifestation of readiness for action in stressful situations. According to the authors, due to emotional stability as a quality of personality in extreme conditions, the transition of the psyche to a new level of activity is ensured: such a restructuring of its motivational, regulatory and executive functions that allows you to maintain and further increase the efficiency of activity.
This article provides an analysis of innovative empirical and theoretical data on the mental stability of medical workers. Theoretical approaches to the study of psychological components that help overcome negative stressful situations are analyzed. Various models of mental stability and the methods used to measure mental stability in medical personnel are given. The analysis of the relationship of mental stability with other psychological components, such as psychological well-being, personality traits, his individual cognitive abilities, relationships with colleagues and patients, is provided. The problems of the formation of mental stability are considered on the example of medical workers.
