The problem of civil-Patriotic education goes to a new level. In the article defines the main provisions of the concept of civil and Patriotic education of students of medical educational institutions of higher education. The considered concept reflects methodological, conceptual-theoretical and technological-recommendatory elements.
Forming judgements and opinions regarding the healthcare system of the Russian Federation among medical institute students is considered to be a relevant issue today. The attitude of the future medical representative is of great importance when choosing a field in order to succeed professionally and achieve high results. Undoubtedly, specifically during the study period he is contributed with forming opinion towards the healthcare system. As a result, the survey of students opinion should be done, the peculiarities of forming their opinions, influential factors and possibilities to correct the completely false views if there are any. The purpose of the study is to evaluate students judgements regarding work in medical field. Object and methods. In November 2022, a study was conducted at Smolensk State Medical University in groups of 30 people from the first, fourth and sixth years of the Faculty of Medicine and the first, third and fifth years of the Faculty of Dentistry and Pharmacology using methods of sociological survey and statistical analysis. Results. Students revealed the adequate assessment of the existing healthcare system which was based on their personal observation and analysis of first aid assistance with a slight prejudice concerning the field of interest. Findings. The main factors influencing the formation of opinions about the medical sphere are: reinforcing stereotypes about better quality of medical services in private medical institutions compared to public ones due to the large wage disparity; insufficient funding of medical educational institutions; average satisfaction with the quality of education received.

Currently, the digital transformation of education is a necessary process of changing the content, methods and organizational forms of educational work in universities. The implementation of this process is impossible without the development of digital infrastructure, the creation of assessment systems and the emergence of public available sets of electronic learning materials, systems and services. In addition, it is necessary to form and develop digital competences among the faculty and students. In this context, the research presented in this paper is relevant. It considers working out and creation of a system for automatic control of the required competences development among students within specific academic disciplines, with the possibility of embedding such systems in electronic information and educational environments (EIEE), which operate in most universities in Russia. The aim of the article is to describe the experience of organizing students’ learning quality control using the testing system developed by the authors. The system is designed to control the quality of the laboratory work of the module "Statistical Analysis of Data in Medicine" by students of medical specialties of higher education institutions, which is a part of the discipline "Software of professional activities". During the development of the system, an analysis of the works of Russian and foreign scientists related to the issues of training medical personnel and developing their digital competencies in the context of healthcare informatization was made. In addition, the research materials are based on the available scientific and methodological materials and many years of experience in teaching disciplines related to medical informatics and ICT at the Medical Institute of Mordovia State University by the authors. The leading research method is the statistical analysis of the results obtained after the introduction of the developed testing system. The main results of the article include: determining the functionality of the created testing system and describing its architecture; justification of the choice of development tools for the practical implementation of this software solution; presentation of interface parts of the system for teachers and students with examples of work; explanation of the specific features of the system application in the educational process of a medical university. The article may be of practical interest to specialists involved in the construction of information systems to support the educational process, and to instructors teaching the disciplines of the ICT cycle to students of medical specialties at universities.

Due to the introduction of the discipline "Introduction to Modern Information and Intellectual Technologies" into the curricula of medical universities, which includes a section devoted to the basic principles and algorithms of machine learning and artificial intelligence (AI), there is a need to develop appropriate methodological support. The relevance of the research topic is due to the fact that the vast majority of medical students do not have the necessary knowledge in mathematics and programming, which are the theoretical foundations of modern intelligent technologies. This can lead to incorrect interpretation of AI-generated results in their future professional work. Therefore, it is important to consider the specific needs of this category of students when developing teaching materials. The aim of the article is to describe the authors' proposed approach to implementing computer experiments in the laboratory practice of the above-mentioned discipline, which allows students to gain a deeper understanding of the essence of the studied machine learning methods and the conditions for their application. The research methods used include classification methods used in machine learning, experimental design methods, and two-factor analysis of variance, which serves as a basis for evaluating the effectiveness of the proposed approach. The study was conducted with a participation of students from the Medical Institute of Mordovian University. The result is an approach developed by the authors for conducting laboratory work by medical students. This approach includes: studying the basic mathematical formulas underlying a particular machine learning method, performing simple computational tasks on a small amount of data, studying the basic functions of the Python language to implement a specific practical task, and conducting computer experiments to further explore the chosen mathematical model and improve its accuracy. The effectiveness of this approach has been confirmed by the results of a pedagogical experiment conducted by the authors. The theoretical significance of this work lies in the generalization and systematization of materials on this topic, and the results obtained complement existing scientific and pedagogical developments, deepening our understanding of the processes related to this topic, and they can be used in further research. The practical significance lies in the fact that the presented approach can be used as a basis for developing methodological materials on the topic "Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence Technologies in Healthcare."
