The realities of modern pedagogical practice of preschool education testify to the many difficulties and problems that are observed in the speech of children: lack of vocabulary in the active dictionary of children in accordance with age; dialogue poverty (inability to logically correctly formulate a question and build an answer) and monologic speech (underdeveloped skills in composing a plot or descriptive story on a given or free topic). Coherent speech of preschoolers is formed both in the process of speech practice, and under the influence of purposeful speech development by adults. It is also advisable to use mnemonics to form the ability to compose stories about events from personal experience in children 6-7 years old.
The problem of speech development in preschool children is one of the main issues in modern times. This article presents examples of exercises using mnemonics (mnemonic tables) that can help bring a child's speech to a conditionally normal level.
