The article substantiates the necessity of non-standard lessons in mathematics. The possibilities of non-standard lessons are revealed. The effectiveness of non-standard lessons in terms of increasing students' activity and interest in mathematics is shown. Such lessons broaden students' outlook, bring mathematical problems closer to life, promote the integration of knowledge and skills in different subjects. The main general requirements to non-standard lessons are also defined.
This article presents a summary of a non-standard lesson-game on the topic «Skeleton» for eighth grade students of a secondary school. It also describes the goals, objectives, the course of the lesson and provides an approximate list of ques-tions and tasks for students.
