The paper deals with the notion of normative regulation of the concept “results of operational and investiga-tive activity”, the direction of its use in criminal proceedings. The various approaches to understanding the results of operational and investigative activities are given.

The article deals with the problem of ensuring the legality of carrying out an operational-search measure “operational experiment” by isolating the main organizational and legal prohibitions, restrictions and acceptable conditions from the norms of the current legislation. Compliance with the identified organizational and legal requirements is directly causally related to the effectiveness and efficiency of the operational experiment, on the one hand, and the ability and affordability of using its results in the process of investigating crimes and litigations, on the other hand, and the responsibility of operational workers, with the third.

This article examines the specifics of teaching the discipline "Operational-Investigative Activity" at the university. The author analyzes the program of the course and its place in the educational process, reveals the features of teaching the discipline at the university.
