Economic Sanctions Impact on the Financial State of Russian Banking System

The article reveals the effects of the imposed economic sanctions against the Russian Federation and its banking sector. The dynamics of basic indicators of banking activities of five major state-owned banks in the period from 2013 to October 2015 are analyzed.
