The article presents the results of an empirical study of the relationship between the level of personality anxiety and the statuses of professional identity in high school students (N=50, aged 15–18). The methods used: Spielberger–Khanin Personality Anxiety Scale, Phillips School Anxiety Test, and Azbel's Professional Identity Questionnaire. Moderate negative correlations of personality anxiety with formed identity (r=-0.54; p<0.01) and positive correlations with uncertain identity (r=0.46; p<0.01) and moratorium (r=0.38; p<0.01) were revealed. Practical recommendations for psychological support of professional self-determination of adolescents with high anxiety are discussed.
