This article presents the results of research aimed at studying and analyzing the influence of the sharply continental climate of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) on the electric power parameters of a polycrystalline solar panel. The results of experimental studies are shown in the form of graphical interpretations and patterns of current and voltage strength from external parameters in winter, such as: time, luminous flux, temperature and weather type. At the moment, in accordance with the requirements of the Paris Climate Agreement, the introduction of renewable energy sources into the electric power systems of the countries is one of the priorities. On the territory of the northern part of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), about 24 solar power plants are operated, but it is important to note that these facilities practically do not function in winter due to low solar activity.
The article is devoted to the study of the effect of introducing a solar radiation concentration system, consisting of Fresnel lenses, for photovoltaic power plants. The paper applies the key requirements for the implementation of full-scale research in solar power facilities. Methods for processing experimental data were used by calculating the average statistical indicators of the generating power of a photovoltaic power plant. Field studies were carried out in the central part of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) during February-March. It has been established that in the case of using this system, the generation of electricity from a photovoltaic power plant increases by 16 ... 17%, provided there are no factors that reduce the intensity of solar radiation. It has been recorded that in the case of low cloudiness, electricity generation from a photovoltaic power plant is reduced by 6% without the use of a solar concentration system.
