Landscape Images of the Far North (Based on the Collection of Poems «The Field of Life» by O. Voronova)

Landscape images on the material of the poetry collection «Field of Life» by the Sama poet O.V. Voronova are considered. Three main lexical and thematic groups (earth, sky, water) are singled out, lexical representations of each group are described, their diversity and features are noted. The originality of pictorial and expressive means used in the creation of landscape images, moreover, their functions in texts are revealed. The philosophical position of the author, his attitude to the native nature and to the history of the people are characterized.

The article examines the features of synesthesia and combined perception in natural images of the Far North by O.V. Voronova. The variants of representation of landscape objects and phenomena in the individual picture of the world of the Sami poetess are analyzed.
