The article is devoted to the analysis of the key concepts of labor law «place of work», «workplace», «work» in relation to remote work. Based on a comparative legal analysis of the legislation of the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation, a conclusion was drawn about the unity of the legal status of an employee in the Union State and proposals were formulated to improve legislation taking into account the harmonization of the regulatory framework of the two states.
