The article is devoted to the issues of procurement logistics and its importance in the organization of entrepreneurial activity of an economic entity. The paper shows the place of procurement logistics in the logistics system, discloses the functions of the procurement service at the enterprise, defines the goal and main tasks to be solved within the framework of procurement logistics. Particular attention is paid to the task of «make» or «purchase» and the task of choosing a supplier, which are solved in order to achieve the maximum efficiency of procurement activities at the enterprise.
