The article describes the historical concepts of professional orientation of schoolchildren. A detailed description of the developing concept of career guidance through the personal development approach of professional development of the individual, developed by L. M. Mitina, is given. A comparative analysis of this approach and technologies used in the work of a school psychologist is carried out. Based on the analysis, a system was built in the work of a school psychologist for designing the professional trajectory of teenagers and high school students.
The article substantiates the role of intercultural interaction in the educational environment of a modern university as a key factor in the professional and personal development of students. Theoretical approaches to understanding the educational environment of a university as a space of cultural dialogue are considered. The structural components of intercultural interaction (cognitive, emotional-value, activity-based) and their impact on the formation of supra-professional competencies (softskills), as well as on the development of the reflexive position of a future specialist, are analyzed. In conclusion, the conclusions are formulated about the need for a systematic approach to the organization of intercultural interaction at the university.
