The article describes the concept of professional identity, highlights the features of professional identity of the teacher (lb Schneider). The study indicates the factors of formation of professional identity, as well as data that at the present stage of development of society factors of professional activity of the teacher contribute to the rejection of the profession. The article presents the data of their own research analysis of the status of professional identity of teachers at different levels of professional burnout.
