The article describes the methods of organizing research aimed at developing professional materials on the specialties of officer training. The development of information in all areas of training made it possible to create databases according to the specified criteria, which can later be integrated into the electronic information and educational environment of a modern university of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation to update information on the areas of professional selection and psychological support of the educational process.
