The article analyzes media materials of the Far Eastern Federal District, published in 2022-2024, dedicated to the events of a special military operation and responses to them in the mass media. Modern methods of information warfare, as a textbook example of communication aggression, require in response the special work of regional media in the mode of disavowing aggression. One of the key aspects of information warfare is manipulative technologies.

The article presents the results of a study conducted on the material of regional Belarusian newspaper, devoted to identifying the realization of the emotive function of color terms. The study identified the color terms actualized by journalists of the Belarusian regional newspaper in conveying emotional states, and established the range of emotions described with the help of color terms.
