The article discusses the specifics of financial support for the Prosecutor’s Office of the Pskov region in the second half of the 1970s - 1980s. This work was written on the basis of previously unpublished materials and documents of the State Archive of the Pskov Region. The author used systemic and comparative historical methods for solving research problems in this article. This work can be useful to all those who are interested in the history of law enforcement bodies of the USSR.
