The article is devoted to the various types of research tasks applied on the technology lessons in primary school for the intellectual development of juniors. The proposed tasks are divided into groups according to the structure of the research activities and are focused on the work with the materials that are used in the technol-ogy lessons in primary school.

The article is devoted to the problem of developing the skills of cognitive and research activities in primary school students in the lessons of the surrounding world, organizing more effective and productive activities of students in class and extracurricular activities and using various research tasks and modern teaching aids.
