In the scientific article, the authors attempted to critically understand and theoretically substantiate the pedagogical conditions for the formation of retelling in preschool children with general speech underdevelopment. An analysis and brief description of the prerequisites for the formation of the retelling skill, as well as the specific features of this skill in preschool children with general speech underdevelopment were carried out. As a result of the study, a connection was established between the process of forming retelling skills in the studied category of children and the quality of pedagogical conditions in preschool educational institutions that contribute to the effectiveness of this area of correctional and developmental work.

This article examines the development of retelling skills in older preschoolers with general speech underdevelopment. The need to integrate speech therapy and special education techniques is substantiated. Data from a definitive experiment are presented, and areas for integrative intervention are identified.
