The paper discusses the features of drivers’ training of law enforcement agencies and tactical special training related to the use in operational performance of vehicles of category «B» and «C». The structure is divided into summer, winter and off-season practical training. The authors provide necessary amount of preparation, core exercise and control necessary for quality training of drivers.

The article reveals effective ways of social control, ensuring the safety of traffic in Russian society. The results of the author's sociological research aimed at studying the opinions of respondents regarding the organization of traffic in Togliatti are presented.
