The article is devoted to the problem of social integration of adolescents with developmental disabilities and the most important condition of its effectiveness – the development of competence in interpersonal interaction. It is known that the connection of social integration of persons with developmental disabilities with the psychological readiness for this process of society and the individual is natural. The quality of the Social-Psychological Competence of persons with developmental disabilities, which determines this readiness, is reduced at the functional-individual, operational-subjective and motivational-personal levels. The solution of these issues requires the organization of psychological and pedagogical support of the process of inclusion in society of persons with developmental disabilities at different stages of training.
