The paper discusses the importance of informatization of agricultural sector. The author reveals the possibil-ity of providing reliable rapid comprehensive information on the status of internal and external environment of managed objects through the introduction of a software product. The advantages of using information technologies in agricultural sector are described on the example of the program complex “Coral” and software “GEO-Agro”, system “Agrar-Office”, which enable the transition to a higher level of economic efficiency of agricultural sector as a whole.

In this article the method of calculating the compensation devices for various enterprises. A method implementation of this technique for the software package, and the feasibility study of reactive power problems and the need for calculations and installation of compensating devices. It is shown that this method can simplify and speed up the process of calculation and equipment selection.

The RastrWin software package is designed to solve problems of calculation, analysis and optimization of electrical systems modes. Optimization is the search for the best solution by any criterion. There is an economic criterion – a minimum of costs. In modern electrical systems, the task of optimizing reactive power is relevant. The concept of reactive power is associated with alternating electric current and voltage, phase shift between them. With a minimum phase shift, the useful power consumption is maximum. To ensure this, means are used to regulate reactive power and voltage. In this paper, using the example of a real electrical system, an analysis was carried out using a software package and recommendations were developed.
